Staycation Adventures

We decided to have a one day staycation in downtown Houston to relax in our own city. We stayed at the Marriott Marquis where they have a lazy river in the shape of Texas. This was a most needed date night away from the kids to just be two fun loving parents.

After a couple of pina coladas and a few jello shots! we jumped in the pool and lazied our way through Texas. Drinks are a must if you are going to be kidless!

The we glammed up to head over to Quattro at the Four Seasons Houston. We had the best Italian food in a while.

We clean up nice. Don't we? After, we attended the Game of Thrones Experience over at the Toyota Center. If you have a chance to catch the show, I fully recommend it. It was a night of magic and the music was amazing.
